Migration Setup & Guide

Option A: Migrating From WordPress to KhushiHost

  • 📥 Step 1: Download — Click the orange Download WP Plugin button to download the pre-packaged khushihost-migrator-plugin.zip file.
  • 🔌 Step 2: Install & Activate — Log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the downloaded ZIP archive, and click Install Now, then Activate.
  • ⚙️ Step 3: Open Settings — From your WordPress admin sidebar menu, navigate to and open the newly added KhushiHost Migrator settings interface.
  • 🔑 Step 4: Configure Credentials — Copy your new receiver target domain URL and the corresponding Secret Key shown on this page, and paste them into the WordPress plugin fields.
  • 🚀 Step 5: Run Streams — Select your desired post migration scope directly inside the WordPress plugin dashboard, and click the migrate buttons to stream your articles and images over the secure API.

Option B: PHP-to-PHP (Custom PHP Sites)

  • 📂 Step 1: Upload Script — Ensure this a_live_migrator.php script is uploaded and active on your old source custom PHP website's directory.
  • 🌐 Step 2: Set Target — In the Receiver Domain Name field above, enter the domain URL of your target KhushiHost receiving website.
  • 🔒 Step 3: Keys Match — Ensure that your security token inside the Secret Key field matches the token defined in your receiving CMS configuration file.
  • 📅 Step 4: Choose Scope — Set your desired migration options (Entire Website, Today's Posts, or a Custom Date Range).
  • ⚡ Step 5: Start Streaming — Click the blue Start Live Migration button below to initiate database queries and securely stream articles and media one-by-one.
